Pinwheels For PAIL

PINWHEEL-LOGO_v2

…..blowing wishes of hope and support for the 37000
families who experience Pregnancy and Infant Loss in Ontario this past year.

SOLD OUT
Thank you to everyone who supported the first Pinwheels for PAIL Campaign, over 1000 pinwheels are blowing wishes and memories of our babies in the wind across the globe.

The Pinwheels will be back in the fall of 2016.

Regrettably 1 in 5 pregnancies does not result in a healthy infant.  Approximately 37,000 Ontario families a year experience this family tragedy.  PAIL Network has developed an awareness/fundraising tool to assist the families we support through their grief journey.

Plant your Pinwheel in memory of your baby and share the picture on Social Media with #PinwheelsforPAIL.  Don’t forget to write a message to your baby to be carried in the wind.

Plant a pinwheel in honour of your baby visiting a local organization supporting the campaign. Please scroll down to find a supplier near you.

If you would like to arrange a community planting of Pinwheels PAIL Network will provide you with guidance and tools to make a successful event.

Healthcare Facilities

PAIL Network will compensate you with your choice of either our Early Loss or Silent Birth-Losing a Baby resource booklet for every Pinwheel you sell.  These booklets retail for $1.00 each and provide the necessary physical and emotional information and resources crucial for bereaved families.  These booklets are the resource of choice in the majority of healthcare centres across Ontario, Newfoundland and New Brunswick.

Attend an October Awareness Event and Plant a Pinwheel

Who has Seen the Wind

by Christina Georgina Rossetti

Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you.
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I.
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.
